Considerable efforts are involved in pelleting because the rollers press against the die with a high specific and alternating pressure.The flange therefore plays a very important role in the resistance of the die, which otherwise could break.

  • The die flange is made of forged C50 steel Induction hardened and turned with very tight finishing tolerances because it has to “tighten” the die as much as possible.
  • A quality control guarantees both tolerance (+/- 0.05 mm) and hardness ( +/- 0,05 mm) and hardness (58-60 HRc)
