Belt Access Ring

This ring is fixed on the main casing of the pellet mill and has a sealing function. In fact, the ring houses a felt cord that crawls on the external surface of the die-holder rotor avoiding the leak of the flour, behind the casing.

Description

  • The febelt access ring is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, characterized by greater resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in humidity, compared to the so-called “carbon steels”.
  • The presence of chromium which is able to passivate itself and that is to cover itself with a thin and adherent layer of oxides, practically invisible with a thickness of the order of 0.3-5 nm, which superficially protects the underlying metal from the action of oxygen and external chemical agents.
